This 1840 house, “Empire – Retour d’Egypte” style is set in the middle of a wooded park, in the heart
of the “Stud Region” (“Région des haras”), among which the famous haras du Pin, haras du Tellier, etc.).
The house is at the gate of the Auge microregion, famous for its variety of landscapes and its gastronomy.
The house is located 60 km from the D-Day beaches; the Battle of Chambois was a key moment in the Allied victory against Germany. The Falaise pocket Battle (1944) ended in Chambois. You can also enjoy the delightful lights of the Normandie area, which embellish a landscape steeped in medieval history : the Castle of Falaise which belonged to William the Conqueror, the Exmes stronghold and the Chambois keep (XIIth century), not to mention numerous others. |
